Trying to solve each case is what you are working towards and it is a lot of fun playing a detective. The gameplay of Chess of Blades is about you reading the story and choosing the right response.
The last one is a bonus route that is about a pit fighter called Sabre which is the same story as the Arden one, but from a different point of view. Franz is a nice Nobel and his route involves a murder and one of Rivian’s family is blamed for it! Linnaeus is a grand inquisitor and this route has a kidnapping and a murder. Arden is a member of the royal guard and his route sees a daughter of one of the maids kidnapped. While there are four love interests for you to pursue in Chess of Blades what I liked about this was not that you had a different character to try and get with, but the whole mystery completely changes. The story in this game is awesome, I am a sucker for a good mystery and the mystery (well mysteries) that is on offer here is great.
